This was a homework assignment I had to do using a limited palette-- essentially 3 colours and white in my case. It's really amazing how many colours can be derived from so few colours, it can actually be very daunting to get just the right colour, as I've come to learn.

I had been flipping through some art books and was feeling particularly struck by the work of Van Gogh. Whether I was conscious of it or not, I ended up laying down a thick paint application with a small round brush when doing this project which resulted in a look and feel very similar to his. I liked it!
